4:30 – 5:00: Start the day early in the morning to visit a local fishing village in Duy Hai (Quang Nam, Hoi An).
From 4a.m., almost villagers and fishermen in here will gather by the harbor. They show their catches from the sea after a night working trip, they talk; discuss and exchange the catches in crowdy, noisy moments.
Coming there by 4:30 to 7:00, you will have a chance to be in deep contact with the villagers in their daily activity. Admiring the sunrise, getting the day start by these locals are really unforgettable moments for your travel to Hoian. Take a walk to nearby workshops to see how the people partially dry the fish/the catches and make the fish sauce in their manual way. We can also see the women playing cards while waiting for the fishing boats returning from the sea.
At around 7a.m., the people, after getting a good transaction and looking so happy, will spread to every markets bringing their best buys from this harbor to sell. And it’s the time for us to move on to other places. End the tour.
