Myanmar Bagan Day Tours
Bagan (or Pagan) is an ancient city that was the capital of the first Burmese empire. Located on the eastern bank of the Irrawaddy River in central Myanmar, it was home to more than 10,000 pagodas, temples and monasteries built between the 11th and 13th centuries by the ancient kings of Burma. Of which the remains of over 2,000 temples and pagodas still survive to the present day in a verdant sublime setting, part-covered with palms and tamarind caught in a bend of the lazy-flowing river and surrounded by the hazy silver-grey of distant mountains.
Bagain is one of the world’s greatest archeological sites. The region does not experience a rainy season, which enables tourists to visit and discover the temple town at ease all year-round.
