Next, you will explore the temples of the Khmer Empire of Beng Mealea from Siem Reap. Said to be the most beautiful temple ruin within the Angkor Era, Banteay Srei is built from pink sandstones. Built in the 12th century, Beng Mealea is one of the Khmer Empire’s largest temples. But unlike Angkor Wat, it is mostly unrestored. Its current state is dominated by jungle with tree roots and twisted brush taking over its towers, courtyards and chambers.
Morning private car and your guide pick you up at hotel then transfer to Holy mountain of Phnom Kulen. It is situated at north east of Angkor Complex about 50 Km, it takes approximately 2 hours. You will drive up to the hill top with 487 meters height and plateau stretches 30 km long. You’ll also visit Liga carving, a legacy of the God-kings who ruled Cambodia in the ninth century, is one of the eight water sources, Sleeping Buddha, and approach the Waterfall of Phnom Kulen.
