- Price and bargain: while in department stores featuring fixed prices, you can make some bargaining at most other places, night markets and local central markets. Generally, price is variable and you can obtain a final cost of between 10-40% lower than the original price. One thing to remember, Thais appreciate good manners and a sense of humor. With patience and a broad smile, you will get a better price after all.
