Today we will take 2hour drive to visit Bago. Located 80km northeast of Yangon, Bago or Pegu was the capital of the Mon Kingdom in the 15^th century and is a town steeped in legend. You will learn about the history and the myths of the city via visits several stupas and Buddhist monasteries. We also take time to discover the local life and cottage industries.
