Nam Ngum Lake is situated about 80km north of Vientiane in the Ang Nam Ngum Reservoir. The peaceful scenery over the Nam Ngum River and its green valley is enhanced by this vast lake. The itinerary also includes visit to Vangxang, an 11th century Buddhist archeological site, take a boat trip and stop at local villages.
