Photo Hoi An Ancient Town

Arrival Da Nang airport, you are transferred to Hoi An ancient town by private car & guide. On the way to Hoi An, you will pass through Da Nang city - the fourth largest city in Vietnam with a major seaport, long sandy beaches and upscale resorts.  Visit the Museum of Cham Sculpture built in 1915 and housing the world’s most extensive collection of Cham ethnic sculpture artworks, the China Beach and the Marble Mountains, whose peaks represent the five basic elements of the universe.

Early morning at 4:30AM, our guide will pick you up at the lobby hotel then transfer to fish village to watch the fishermen bring in their catch from a night at sea on the river delta; where ocean and river meet. Witness how locals smoke and dry the fish. There is ample opportunity to capture the morning light spilling across the water, to get shots of light filtering through the fish smoking chamber and plenty of countryside greenery to give you contrast. Hoi An photo tour has an excellent rapport with the locals - you will be more than welcome to take portrait shots of the fisherman.

Around noon time, you will come back Hoi An town and continue to take photo of the town. We seat around a good coffee and go through all your camera settings, learning about the basics of photography and your camera. We go through the main relationships between all your camera modes, and the ones to be used in travel photography.

After reviewing some composition tips and techniques, we walk through the old town of Hoi An and capture the essence of the city, still working on original composition techniques and advanced settings on your camera.

Around 3:30 PM, we will enjoy our sunset hunting. Sunset in Hoi An makes for an infinite hue of colors and reflections. Enjoy a boat ride to Thanh Ha village; explore the rice paddies in the warm afternoon light, capture the workers planting, plowing or harvesting rice. Enter a traditional village along the river and a boat ride back to Hoi An. Photograph the old quarter in the best light, soaking up the afternoon sun and colors on the river

Late afternoon, we will come back Hoi An town then check in hotel after long photography day
