Trekking
The Sunday Muong Hum market takes place in Bat Xat district, about 45km away from Sapa. There are several ethnic groups going to this market like Giay, Dao, H’mong and Ha Nhi. Though not being well-known as the Bac Ha market or the love market, Muong Hum market still remains the original essence of the region. It’s also a meeting place for local lovers. The day trip also includes visit to the village of Ha Nhi, one of the smallest minorities in Vietnam noted for their unique Trinh Tuong house with old-fashioned grass roofs.
Morning, depart from Sa Pa we drive to Ban Xeo Village, this drive leads you to a very authentic area that is still not visited by tourists. The bumpy road takes you off the main tourist trail and enables you to discover the unspoiled hill tribe culture. Arrive at Muong Hum Market where you discover that you are the only tourist in this impressive local market. Afterward, we will drive you to Ha Nhi minority Village, a picnic lunch will be served on the way at a beautiful location. Transfer back to Sa Pa in the afternoon.
