Trekking
Binh Lu market is located on the west side of Hoang Lien Son mountain range past the Tram Ton – Vietnam’s highest pass. The market is busy with activities as local hill tribes gather for their weekly market day, come to buy and sell their own produces. Binh Lu market opens every Sunday from 8:00am to 1:00pm.
Morning, travel with your guide by car through Tram Ton Pass. On the way, a short walk will be made at Silver Waterfall and then head to Heaven’s Gate, where you will be amazed by breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains including Mt. Fansipan, the highest peak of Indochina reaching 3143metres above sea level. Your ride will be mostly downhill (approximately 1.5hours) toward Binh Lu Market. You visit Chu Va Village of the Red H'mong minority before reaching Binh Lu township. Have a picnic lunch at the local restaurant.
After lunch, continue to trek through the rice fields to Pa Pe Village home of Lu and Thai minority people. Return to Sa Pa in the afternoon.
